Be part of the connection: You act as the primary billing and collections consultant for carrier clients while analyzing and resolving billing and collection issues. You implement agreed-upon solutions with clients and internal departments and correct systems and invoices as needed. You manage accounts within an office environment interacting with teams in person and digitally.
How you can make a difference:
Collaborate with clients and teams to resolve billing-related issues, including inquiries, disputes or collection issues.
Communicate with the finance organization of Carrier clients.
Develop alternative solutions for account reconciliation and payment resolution for management to approve.
Resolve disputes by submitting rate information or order requests for billing correction.
Establish an audit process to validate service locations on invoices and within our inventory systems.
Develop a trend analysis for clients who consistently have disputes or inventory discrepancies.
Provide status updates on past due balances, aging and other reports.
Coordinate with internal teams to close process gaps which may be causing billing discrepancies
WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS Required qualifications:
Experience: Two years of data entry experience; Three or more years of billing and collections, project management and telecommunications experience.
Education: Associate degree in finance, accounting, a related field or equivalent experience.
Technical skills: Understanding of billing systems; Familiar with fiber processes and procedures; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Skills: Prioritization and English communication skills.
Abilities: Understanding of documents required to support sales initiatives; Ability to establish rapport and gain client trust.
