Through innovative products and service reliability, we ensure that the customers who visit our stores keep connected to who and what matters most.
BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Direct Retail Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing relationships in support of our Retail Partners Sales Channel. In this role, you’ll build a high performing team through recruitment, retention, and training. You will develop sales plans to meet or exceed retail growth by implementing plans for selling Spectrum products and services through indirect distribution channels (retailer/dealer/agent).
WHAT OUR DIRECT RETAIL SALES MANAGERS ENJOY MOST
Coach, develop and motivate Retail Account Representatives to achieve both individual and team objectives.
Implement retail sales channel strategies to grow market awareness for the Spectrum brand, including development of new retail customers.
Communicate overall plans to Divisional Sales Director; monitor, evaluate results and provide detailed status updates.
Develop and manage relationships with Spectrum Authorized Retailers and Partners to grow effectiveness of retail channel by continuously monitoring trends, opportunities, issues and performing in-depth needs assessments.
Provide input on training content and process based on communication with retail partners, industry best practices or recommended process improvements.
Provide guidance, monitor, and manage the enforcement of all Company policies.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: Sales management experience (5+ years), project management (3+ years), telecommunications industry experience (3+ years); Knowledge of employment laws and procedures
Abilities: Read, write, speak and understand English
Travel: Ability to travel to multiple locations up to 70% of the time, Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Company’s motor vehicle requirements
Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of telecommunications products and services, knowledge of sales strategies in a retail environment, knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of retail sales environments.

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.
The base pay for this position generally is between $83,040.00 and $136,320.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $30,000.
