Looking to shape the future of retail operations in a dynamic market? Spectrum seeks a Senior Manager, Area Retail Operations to drive operational excellence, workforce readiness, and consistent execution across partner locations. By collaborating with teams and leading strategic initiatives, you’ll ensure stores are staffed, equipped, and customer-ready, making a lasting impact on retail performance and customer experience.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead workforce planning and staffing strategies across 3PL partners to optimize coverage and sales readiness
- Monitor staffing trends, productivity metrics, and workforce capacity to identify and address operational gaps
- Conduct operational reviews and oversee visitation schedules to assess staffing effectiveness and maintain compliance
- Drive accountability for workforce performance standards, onboarding programs, and training completion across all partner locations
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to deploy leadership programs and lead ongoing coaching initiatives to enhance execution and customer experience
- Manage inventory levels, equipment deployment, and operational supply readiness by partnering with Supply Chain teams to resolve variances and improve efficiencies
- Maintain operational dashboards and key performance indicators while ensuring adherence to procedures, policies, audit requirements, and brand standards
Working Conditions
- Retail environment with exposure to moderate noise levels
- Travel required to multiple locations for operational oversight

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 5+ years experience with operational protocols in third party sales environments
- 3+ years management experience
Skills
- Experience leading operational compliance, workforce planning, and training programs
- Proficiency in inventory and merchandising management
- Advanced change management techniques
- Strong analytical skills leveraging performance dashboards and operational metrics
- Knowledge of process and procedure design and documentation
- Experience in third party sales management
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills
- Ability to make qualitative judgments on training, education, and development resources
- Ability to build strategic partnerships through interpersonal, leadership, influencing, and presentation skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Competency in personal technology such as mobile devices and video platforms
- Ability to travel regularly within assigned markets
- Valid driver’s license meeting Spectrum’s motor vehicle requirements
