As a Strategic Key Account Director at Spectrum, you will spearhead account strategies and mentor a team dedicated to strengthening our position as the trusted advisor for our clients’ evolving connectivity needs. Your leadership will be instrumental in forging partnerships and delivering excellence, directly influencing Spectrum’s reputation and ongoing success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Sales Professionals, guiding strategy to accelerate account growth and exceed sales quotas
Develop, communicate and execute account plans focused on both retaining and expanding key client relationships
Coordinate weekly strategy meetings and reviews to drive activity, monitor performance and align the team with business goals
Implement tactics to protect, grow and diversify customer accounts through contract renewals and product expansion
Analyze market trends, customer retention and business opportunities, providing regular performance reports
Foster collaboration with internal partners in Market Development, Construction, Sales Support, Client Services, Product and Marketing to deliver seamless client experiences
Oversee daily sales team operations including recruitment, training and motivation to build a cohesive, high-performing unit
Working Conditions
Work in both office and field environments to support client engagement and account management activities
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent training, education and experience
Experience
5+ years of leadership experience in achieving a monthly revenue quota in Integrated Strategic and Managed Service sales
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to develop and execute customized strategic account plans for key clients
Focus on delivering and surpassing team-based sales quotas
Proficient in supervising personnel and managing office procedures
Skilled in organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals
Effective organizational development and business skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Individuals in this position drive integrated strategic and managed service solution sales within a defined territory
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership in dynamic sales environments requiring teamwork, adaptability and change management
Proven experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce

A qualified applicant’s criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.
The base pay for this position generally is between $87,200.00 and $222,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $72,000.
