BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Director, Billing Solutions on the Billing Strategy & Design team, you are responsible for strategic leadership of billing operations professionals who use current technology to maximize effectiveness and accuracy of existing systems. You will lead the planning and establish long-term strategic initiatives to ensure integration of current and future technologies. Your specific focus will be on data process and quality in support of Standards and Governance of our billing platforms.

WHAT OUR DIRECTOR OF BILLING SOLUTIONS ENJOY MOST

  • Leading the development of solutions to complex billing problems and works with system designers to integrate these solutions with the existing systems
  • Leading the planning and implementing long-term strategic initiatives to ensure integration of current and future technologies
  • Advising on methods to improve business processes and billing related changes
  • Leading the billing and workforce management enhancement efforts to include associated applications to support the long term and operational needs of the Residential, Commercial and other businesses
  • Ensuring the team monitors and analyzes the operation of systems to ensure the effective delivery of billing information
  • Leading the charge for researching, establishing and maintaining data standards and quality in our billing configuration and processes
  • Focus on driving efficiency and consistency across our billers to align with company initiatives and processes

On a given day you’ll work on a diverse scope of issues where analysis of a situation or data requires evaluation of many factors, including current business trends. You’ll thrive in this role if you can manage multiple projects simultaneously and can communicate with all levels in billing and other user departments.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Managing complex programs or projects: 8 years or more; Management experience: 5 years or more
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Working knowledge of Process Management
  • Abilities: Define key performance indicators/metrics; analyze & interpret data; document, and deliver data-driven presentations; supervise and motivate others; develop strong working relationships with peers and project members; conduct risk assessments and develop risk elimination or mitigation plans
  • Travel Ability: Travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Telecommunications; Large and strategic data driven programs
  • Knowledge: Deep knowledge of telecommunications billing systems with preference towards CSG, ICOMS and/or AmDocs
