EMPLOYER: Charter Communications, Inc. TITLE: Director, Business Intelligence (Multiple Openings) DUTIES: Develop and maintain the business intelligence (BI) portfolio and roadmap in coordination with key business owners and executives. Responsible for the successful implementation of BI technologies, systems, tools, architecture, processes, and business-driven information delivery strategies to expose overall customer experience with Charter’s various business processes across the organization. Ensure business needs and goals are realized through discovery, analysis, and reporting on Charter’s information assets and for management of portfolio of highvalue, business-critical information delivery. Oversee complete delivery team including analysts and ETL/report developers dedicated efficient and effective organization and delivery of high-quality BI products aligned with business needs. Manage associated budgets and processes within BI function. Complete monthly executive summaries of BI accomplishments, trends, and identify opportunities for data-driven applications to improve customer experience and business efficiency through automation and machine learning. Oversee data management and data governance within Charter developments teams and maintenance of BI best practices. Lead high-performing development and vertical leader team on recruiting, training, coaching and developing effective leaders and staff positioned on the bleeding edge of technologies, future performance, business trends, and best practices supporting customer journey.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. 10 years of experience leveraging Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Spatial Analytics to help identify, develop, and create new strategic business opportunities. 10 years of experience utilizing MicroStrategy Developer, MicroStrategy Architect, and MicroStrategy Workstation to analyze large amount of data. 8 years of experience leading and managing a team of at least three members within a business operations environment. 5 years of experience leading and delivering complex BI technology engagements with team members in various locations. 5 years of experience developing queries to build and analyze data sets using AWS Redshift Platform. 4 years of experience utilizing ESRI Geo-Spatial Analytics platform to perform functions including geospatial layers, creating spatial mapping applications, or performing spatial intersect analysis. Hybrid arrangement is available.
