The Manager, Advertising Operations is responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of the traffic operating structure for Spectrum Reach’s Operations Center with strategic and tactical execution of new and existing processes and programs to achieve sustainable results and provide actionable feedback.
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Promote honest feedback to encourage and foster a knowledgeable and customer-oriented team environment.
- Prepare, evaluate, and manage operation through compilation and statistical analysis of activity.
- Establish and effectively utilize all processes, data, reports, and programs to maximize department and individual results.
- Ensure competence and continuity of qualified traffic teams by aiding in optimum selection, training and development, performance management, and engagement techniques and tools.
- Manage the general performance of the department to include goal-setting, goal attainment, and appropriate training for supervisors and traffic associates.
- Collaborate and ensure successful fulfillment of cross-channel marketing in contracted MVPD systems.
- Effectively use diplomacy in conflict resolution and problem solving.
- Work with vendor representatives to ensure software concerns and upgrades are resolved/installed with minimal impact to workflow.
- Exercise advanced organizational and multi-tasking skills when volume and workload exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with Sales Management to maximize revenue through specified analytics and inventory management.
- Utilize strong problem solving skills to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Interface with other departments through strong written and verbal communications.
- Identify opportunities to develop and implement process improvements.
- Assists with the budget process; manage departmental expenditures staying within budgeted guidelines.
- Perform other duties as requested
- Ability to lead and unite teams to provide world class customer service
- Familiarity with customer interaction in a business-to-business environment
- Familiarity with processes in a customer service environment
- Ability to work independently; highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to supervise, develop and motivate others
- Possess strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, straightforward and professional manner
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of cable television products and services
- Knowledge of Ad Operations systems and related functions and terms
- Ability to make decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problems
- Advanced use of personal computer and software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
