EMPLOYER: Charter Communications, Inc.
TITLE: Manager, Business Intelligence (Multiple Openings) DUTIES: Support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Provide guidance and education in the interpretation and application of business intelligence (BI) products. Communicate data integrity issues, nuances, and insights to all levels of the company. Maintain Key Operating Metric definitions and own BI single source of truth reporting. Monitor and manage requests from the business. Query data to provide information requested by business users. Present data in a fashion that is easily consumable with proper documentation for successful user adoption. Ensure proper hands-offs and coordination between BI Project teams, Data Architecture Team, Prod Operations, stakeholders and external providers. Create and maintain report documentation, data dictionary, and training materials for customers. Partner with broader BI Group to ensure expectations are aligned within the BI organization. Ensure leadership in BI and customers are aware of project status. Manage the delivery of projects through requirements gathering, development lifecycle, user acceptance testing, and packaging the final product for end-user adoption and consumption. Execute roadmaps for BI initiatives. Prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects and assignments. Resolve problems and handle requests; and utilize data warehousing to assist in technical designs of data. Design and solution data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) data to support BI and reporting solutions, data strategies, and data best practices using MicroStrategy. Provide data integration solutions in large-scale enterprise environments including AWS Redshift using Star of Snowflake schemas. Support BI development, analysis, or architecture. Perform supervisory duties including assigning tasks utilizing Jira project management and determining team capacity and level of skills needed. Support cable industry operations, products, and services.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field. 7 years of experience developing BI solutions, data strategies, and data best practices using MicroStrategy. 5 years of experience providing data integration solutions in large-scale enterprise environments including AWS Redshift using Star or Snowflake schemas. 3 years of experience: supporting BI development, analysis, or architecture; supervisory experience including assigning tasks utilizing Jira project management and determining team capacity and level of skills needed; and in cable industry operations, products, and services. Hybrid arrangement available
