JOB SUMMARY
Manages and supports the staging, testing, and deployment of all current and next generation video and data CPE devices across Charter’s footprint. Works with cross-functional teams through the development, implementation, and deployment phases of new video products and features. Assists with operational performance metrics and provides support to maintain KPIs. Creates playbooks, MOPs, and training materials for new feature and product deployments. Supports Operations to troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct CPE related deployment and field issues.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for CPE staging across all Charter Supply Chain.
Manages CPE firmware distributions, controller dependencies, and back office code upgrades in all hub locations.
Coordinates with Field Operations to troubleshoot and correct CPE related installation and deployment issues.
Works with Product Development, Advanced Engineering, Billing Systems, and OEMs on new product integration and support.
Monitors CPE failure analysis and key performance indicators and implements corrective actions.
Develops and maintains standardized processes for EMM distributions via Web Services.
Creates MOPs and training materials for Warehouse Operations to support new product releases and transitions.
Develops automation tools and centralized processes to eliminate manual requirements and reduce user error.
Manages Supply Chain headend/hub equipment roadmaps to ensure compatibility across all current and future platforms.
Ensures network optimization and proper levels are maintained within hubs for testing and staging.
Develops use case scenarios and business rules for pre-deployment field trials.
Creates and maintains common interface solutions for access controllers, asset management, billing systems, and test environments.
Develops DOCSIS provisioning, training, operational documentation, and assists in launching new equipment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education
BS/BA in Engineering
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience working with video and data CPE deployments (DAC/DNCS Digital Broadband Delivery Systems, DAVIC/ALOHA/DOCSIS/DSG Networks, OCAP architectures, CPE test and repair, Linux/Solaris Administration, VMware ESXi, vSphere) – 4-5
Management experience – 2+
