Are you a strong leader with institutional security expertise, able to swiftly assess situations and resolve security risks with integrity? If you have a passion for service and community support, the Security Intelligence Analyst I role could be for you. In this role, you will analyze threats to Spectrum’s assets, including employees, customers, products, and services. Your work will be crucial in security operational planning to assess, mitigate, and neutralize threats, with a focus on analyzing incident data from various security systems.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze repetitive risks, identify gaps, investigate anomalies, respond to complaints, and develop communication strategies for enterprise security concerns
- Collect, analyze, confirm, and consolidate information into intelligence products for business units, incorporating geospatial data mapping
- Use data visualization and GIS to map and monitor events impacting business operations
- Appropriately handling confidential and sensitive information in accordance with Charter Communications policies.
- Attend and present high-level briefings to senior management and external partners
- Break down information to identify underlying principles and facts, processing data through compiling, coding, and auditing
- Demonstrate understanding of how issues affect project outcomes and business operations
- Communicate analysis results effectively to supervisors, peers, business units, and external stakeholders
- Analyze events and statistical data, categorizing and detecting changes to make risk assessment recommendations and solve problem
- Analyzing events and statistical information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 3+ years in military or law enforcement intelligence position
- Experience with information sharing through the development of or participation with networks and partnership involving key stakeholders across the enterprise and externally
- Experience in open-source intelligence collection, analysis, or production with a major law enforcement, intelligence or other national security agency, corporate physical security, or non-governmental organization
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Familiarity with security systems, analytical software, visualization tools, open-source platforms, and technologies is essential
- Effective communication skills through strategic intelligence writing
- Strong business acumen, teamwork, and communication skills
- Effective foundation of exploitation, analysis and intelligence product development
- Proficiency utilizing advanced functions in Microsoft Office applications and SQL needed
- Critical thinking, analytical, organizational and planning skills
- Effective problem solving and sound judgment
