BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
This position will be responsible for supporting the commercial business sales and operating units in the successful implementation and management of service agreements with commercial customers. This position is responsible for the control of commercial contracts including, but not limited to, the development, auditing, validation, implementation, management, maintenance, administration and recordation of commercial contracts entered into between Charter and commercial customers in compliance with company guidelines.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Review commercial contract issues escalated to Contracts Management, Legal Operations.
Review and prepare response to customer requested changes to terms of service, NDAs and contractual inquiries.
Review any commercial customer documents submitted for Charter’s completion and/or signature.
Negotiate terms of service with commercial customers when deemed appropriate per Charter guidelines while maintaining Charter’s policies, mitigating risk and staying within Charter’s ability to meet all contractual obligations under the respective agreement.
Conduct review of Request for Proposals (RFPs), assist with preparation of Charter’s response and conduct a final review of the RFP response before it is submitted to the respective customer.
Preparation and/or review of various customer communications related to contracts and services such as non-standard proposals, letters and other client correspondence.
Advise when requested regarding any financial analysis for items such as IRR Models, budget preparation and forecasting.
Create a permanent file cover form and process for each large business new ‘non-standard' contract to ensure timely dissemination of key contract terms and conditions to impacted internal departments.
Corresponding and maintaining relationships with internal clients.
Provide general assistance to management and field personnel (AEs, ACs, MAAs) as required including ongoing coaching, and training of such personnel to ensure contract process compliance.
WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS
Required Qualifications
Experience: Three or more years’ experience with contract negotiations, contract drafting and review.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent industry or contract experience.
Skills: Knowledge of business contracts construction, reviewing and drafting.
Abilities: Ability to interact proficiency with peers, clients, and other professionals; Ability to initiate and bring closure to negotiations at an executive level is essential; Ability to exercise accurate business judgement; Ability to communicate with all levels of company employees, vendors/service providers, customers and prospective customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years’ experience with regulatory issues in telecommunications.
