Looking to shape the future of employee relations at Spectrum? As the Senior Manager, Employee Relations, you will drive impactful solutions that improve work environments, guide teams through complex challenges and help safeguard Spectrum from risk. This role empowers you to lead high-performing teams, advise leaders and influence strategic initiatives—making a lasting difference across the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead, coach and develop ER Managers and Investigators to strengthen team performance and effectiveness
- Serve as the liaison for Line of Business leaders on employee relations issues, questions and reporting needs
- Provide critical insights and recommendations to leadership based on trend analysis and business needs
- Drive enterprise-wide employee relations projects from planning to implementation, ensuring clear roles and objectives
- Develop and deliver training programs to address HR and Operations capability gaps and enhance employee relations practices
- Advise field HR leaders and business leaders on team management, performance and talent management strategies
- Investigate high-priority open door complaints and partner with Legal and Labor Relations on complex cases

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification in Internal Investigations
Experience
- 7+ years as a Human Resource Generalist, including 5+ years in employee relations and conducting internal investigations in service, field operations or call center settings
- 3+ years of management experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Extensive knowledge of federal laws governing employment practices
- Competency in all areas of Human Resources including staffing, employee relations, compensation, leave administration, regulatory compliance, employment laws, HR consulting, project management and benefits
- Experience developing and delivering impactful training programs and implementing open door recommendations with senior HR and Operations leaders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations
- Organizational skills to multitask effectively in fast-paced settings
- Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels within Spectrum
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Education
- Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) or Senior Human Resources Professional Certification (SPHR)
