Our Telemetry Development team delivers industry leading software and tools to identify impairments in the cable plant that our technicians use to constantly improve our reliability and customer experience. 


BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Senior Manager on the Telemetry team, you’ll be responsible for partnering with senior leadership to build and implement corporate IT initiatives that support the strategy and goals of Spectrum. You will be immersed in implementing IT standards, policies and, master plans for the IT function. As well as managing the design and implementation of technologies and tools to improve Spectrums internal operations and data delivery. Lastly, you’ll implement new technological directions and manage their deployment.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 7 years IT work experience
    • 5 years leadership experience
    • 2 years project management experience
  • Education: BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical skills:
    • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of computer and/or network systems, applications, procedures and techniques.
    • Knowledge of information technologies and methodologies related to assigned IT segment or area.
    • Understanding of software development lifecycle.
    • Strong understanding of Payment Card Industry (PCI) DSS and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements
  • Skills:
    • Experience leading others and providing constructive feedback.
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
    • Urgency in resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
    • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
    • Ability to multi-task and handle on a proactive basis, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment in order to maximize time-management and efficiencies.
    • Ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
    • Ability to successfully distill complex technical information into clear, concise yet comprehensive communication material.
    • Ability to meet rigorous deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrently.

    • Office Environment
    • Some travel required
  • Schedule:
    • Full time
    • This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)
