Are you skilled at leading teams to create optimal workplace environments? As a Supervisor, Corporate Facilities at Spectrum, you will oversee building support staff to ensure top-notch delivery of facilities services. Your leadership will enhance mail operations, equipment maintenance, and event management, aligning with employee experience goals.
By managing these key activities, you'll contribute to Spectrum's mission of operational excellence and employee satisfaction. Your role is vital in maintaining a welcoming and efficient workspace and fostering a positive work environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage and maintain a team to complete facility-related tasks, supervising key building support functions and ensuring proper staffing.
- Monitor employee productivity, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.
- Assist in hiring and training new employees, fostering a skilled and efficient team.
- Review and approve invoices, ensuring correct coding and completion, and address payment and spending queries.
- Supervise vendor setup, purchase order creation, and other financial and procurement activities.
- Oversee daily and weekly facility tasks, including mail delivery, office equipment maintenance, and service issue resolution.
- Coordinate and assist with company events, ensuring meeting and event spaces are well-maintained and aligned with employee experience goals.
Working Conditions
- Potential but limited overnight, multi-night travel to offices in market areas/out-of-town
- Be available to respond to after hour emergencies/inclement weather issues
- Walking: moving about on foot frequently, often over long distances and for long periods of time
- Ability to climb a ladder, bend/squat/kneel and lift or carry up to 20 pounds as needed
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Degree or GED
Experience
- 3+ years of facilities management experience
- 2+ years of Office and Occupancy Services management experience
Skills
- Communicate in a clear, straightforward, professional manner with all levels of employees, customers, and suppliers, both in writing and verbally
- Work independently
- Supervise and motivate others
- Maintain confidentiality
- Know OSHA, EPA, DOT, and safety regulations
- Have basic knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods for safety management
- Understand environmental auditing, incident investigation, and reporting
- Know financial terms, principles, and corporate budgeting practices
- Possess analytical and reasoning skills
- Demonstrate effective empathy, compassion, welcoming skills, and willingness to provide atonement in difficult situations
- Use personal computer and software applications, including Microsoft Office, proficiently
- Hold a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within company-required standards
- Read, write, speak, and understand English

Experience
- Hospitality, Meeting and Event Management experience
- 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
