Looking to channel your leadership skills into a critical security role? As Supervisor, Security Operations Center at Spectrum, you will guide a team dedicated to safeguarding company assets, coordinating incident response and providing timely intelligence to key stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations and proactive threat management that directly supports Spectrum’s mission to protect what matters most.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and manage a team of Security Operations Specialists to monitor and analyze incidents, identifying risks and threats to Spectrum assets
- Supervise collection and assessment of information from multiple electronic platforms including phone, email, instant messaging, security access and video surveillance systems
- Oversee incident management functions, ensuring coordination with stakeholders and initiation of cases in Spectrum’s investigative management system
- Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information and situational reports to security leaders and stakeholders
- Manage shift personnel performance and compliance with Spectrum standard operating procedures
- Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for team members, supporting their growth
- Communicate with Corporate Security leaders, providing informed recommendations on actual or potential risks and threats
- Continuously review and optimize standard operating procedures for improved efficiency and effectiveness

- Ability to work weekends and holidays based on operational requirements
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience
- 2+ years of equivalent military, law enforcement or security operations center work experience
Skills
- Self-starter able to execute tasks and lead team members in all aspects of incident
- Demonstrated experience leading a team during stressful situations by providing clear direction and guidance
- Ability to manage team to work multiple priorities simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines and in a stressful environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and provide concise situational awareness and seek critical details and guidance when necessary
- Effective decision-making ability during emergencies
- Effective research and analytical skills
- Effective documentation and written communication skills with the ability to prepare executive level situational reports
- Effective oral communication skills with the ability to present incident details in a clear and concise manner to regional security leaders and executive level management
- Effective computer proficiency in Microsoft office applications, GIS systems, and other open-source search engines and applications
- Organization and planning skills
- Technical competence for video and alarm monitoring systems
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability develop and maintain working relationships with all levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
Skills
- 2+ years of experience working in an operations center
- Working knowledge and experience with various security technologies, access control systems, incident management software, and other video surveillance software
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures applicable to a 24-hour environment
- Strong customer service and service delivery orientation
