Responsible for supply/demand management, analytics,and supporttoCharterinitiatives. Develop andimprove keymetricsandprocessesand ensuresupply continuity for Charter’s customers.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Provide weekly/monthly demandforecastbased on received inputs from other organizations for key Charter products includingmonthly actuals and future forecasted itemsthat come from other departments.Escalate or challenge the data that is received as part of the overall demand planning process.
Prepare a weekly/monthly purchaseforecastthat supports theforecasted demandincluding all activities whileensuring theforecasted purchasescovers thenecessary targeted supplylevelsat the individual product level.Provide necessary weekly/daily/monthly reporting to external customers to ensure company alignment across the organization for key product items.
Produce weekly/monthly vendor forecast files to the vendor community. Hold meetings to ensure supply continuity and escalate shortages to management timely.
Work with Procurement in the creation of daily/weekly/monthly purchase orders. Ensure proper delivery dates are on all POs and the vendors have accepted the purchase orders.
Take on additional duties as assigned to support the enterpriseincluding any ad hoc analysis that may arise throughout the month.
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather comprehensive requirements and delivery results expediently
Demonstratedpersonal computer skills in all Office applications with emphasis on Excel
Demonstrated verbal, written and inter-personal communications skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplined teams
Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and concepts
Direct planning knowledge
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Business orSupply Chain
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Planning and reporting experience - 1-2
