Full Time Charlotte, North Carolina Posted 07/16/2026 Areas of interest: Leadership Requisition Number: 2026-76767 XMK120
This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

The VP, Data Products and Partnerships leads the full commercial lifecycle of data relationships for Charter’s new behavioral intelligence platform, overseeing everything from deal origination and contracting to commercialization and ongoing management. This role manages the platform’s critical data economy—securing third-party data sources, structuring client and partner agreements, and facilitating federated data-contribution partnerships—while ensuring speed to market, maximizing commercial leverage, and maintaining rigorous risk and compliance standards. Operating as a hands-on commercial leader, the VP also designs and implements the platform’s foundational commercial data operating model, including contracting, governance, and workflows, to build scalable, repeatable capabilities. Reporting to the SVP, Intelligence Ventures, this role works collaboratively across product, data science, finance, legal, privacy, and procurement teams with a high degree of independence.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Own the full lifecycle of the platform’s data supply relationships, from sourcing and evaluating third-party datasets through negotiation, contracting, and ongoing partner management. Manage a broad portfolio spanning identity, demographic, outcome, registration, clickstream, and panel data used to train and enrich platform models.
  • Structure and manage a wide range of data partnerships, including inbound vendor agreements, outbound client licensing, and federated data-contribution models. Translate complex multi-party arrangements into clear terms that protect data separation, governance, and economic value for all parties.
  • Partner closely with product management to align upstream data agreements with downstream product commercialization. Ensure contracts anticipate how embedded third-party and partner data is consumed, monetized, and compensated as products evolve.
  • Drive commercial leverage and cost efficiency across the data supply portfolio by securing favorable pricing, usage rights, renewal terms, and deal structures. Own sourcing strategy and portfolio economics to support both near-term market entry and long-term scalability.
  • Balance speed to market with strong risk, privacy, and compliance standards by working closely with legal, privacy, and data governance teams. Ensure all data rights, sharing terms, and permitted-use provisions are aligned with the platform’s privacy architecture and regulatory requirements.
  • Build the commercial data operating model from the ground up, including playbooks, templates, workflows, approval processes, and governance standards. Serve as the cross-functional owner ensuring the platform has the data, rights, and deal structures needed to scale efficiently and responsibly.
