Working Conditions

Our Regional Operations Centers monitor our network 24/7, keeping our communities connected. This role requires flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, in an office environment.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • 4 + years of experience in the cable / telecommunications industry.
  • 4 + years of experience in network operations, dispatch, call center or help desk support experience.
  • Spectrum ROC Specialist III or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of HFC network concepts, industry terminology, DOCSIS and end-user support principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic hybrid fiber coax issues using related software.
  • Ability to generate reports and correspondence.
  • Interpret instructions in a variety of formats.

Skills & Abilities

  • Fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to differentiate between colors used as identifiers in our software systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Assocaites degree or certificate in telecommunications or IT.
  • Ability to read & interpret HFC plant schematics / prints.
  • SCTE broadband and network maintenance related courses or equivalent.
  • A+, N+ and MCSE or related certifications.
