What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams:your respective department and your interncohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% oninternshipexperiences that include a kickoff conference,professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functionalprojects,and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand yournetwork,and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:
Spectrum’s Product and Technology team creates, develops, and operates the nation’s fastest mobile service, most reliable internet service, most viewed live TV app, and the most advanced WiFi, serving nearly 100 million users and 500 million devices. Use AI to write code, troubleshoot issues and understand the logic
Write clean, concise code that is stable, extensible and tested appropriately
Diagnose complex issues, evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution
Implement new requirements within our Agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles.
Required qualifications
Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
Must be currentlyenrolledin an accredited College or University completing abachelor’sdegree
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
