The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

Do you have a passion for crafting seamless digital experiences as an Associate Product Designer – UI/UX? At Spectrum, you’ll help shape products and features that directly influence how customers interact with our applications. Collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions and support improvements on multiple platforms, driving meaningful change in users’ daily interactions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in the design of mockups to support product requirements
- Assist in the design of information architecture and wireframes that both meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience
- Support the wider design team to drive cross-platform consistency
- Assist in modification, enhancement, and implementation of design specifications and assets suitable for implementation
- Organize files and follows all established design patterns when applicable. Participate in design and wireframe reviews and brainstorming sessions to help solve problems
- Support the cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables
- Work closely with the greater design team to respond, clarify or define specific application look and feel

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Design/Art/HCI/Media/Related Field, or equivalent real world experience
Experience
- 1+ year of Digital Design Experience
- 1+ year of experience with basic prototyping tools (Invision, Flinto, Marvel, etc.)
- 1+ year of experience with common Interface Tools (Axure, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch)
- Some experience with creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications
- Some experience with project estimation
- Some experience with planning and facilitating user research and usability tests
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Interested in and open to learning about new design techniques and user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital applications from concept to launch
- Ability to demonstrate UI and UX design skills via portfolio
- Basic understanding of platform specific nomenclature
- Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
- Demonstrates time management skills, the ability to be self-directed when needed, and client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Basic understanding of UX best practices
- Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously, prioritize and organize effectively, and fully engage and collaborate with team
