The base pay for this position generally is between $98,780.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

Imagine leading a team of software experts who deliver solutions that drive customer satisfaction and support essential business operations. With responsibilities spanning both daily team guidance and strategic planning of complex projects, this role empowers you to influence the future of technology at Spectrum. Your leadership will shape impactful solutions that enhance how customers and internal teams interact with Spectrum’s products.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage and guide a development team collaborating with product, operations and testing teams to deliver high-quality code
- Provide direction and support on shifting priorities for new projects and ongoing enterprise initiatives, delegating tasks as needed
- Implement software proposals, accurately estimate scope of work and align resources for completion
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage resource allocation, budget considerations and project timelines
- Serve as escalation point for internal partners, resolving roadblocks and mitigating risks to ensure on-time software delivery
- Ensure projects are documented thoroughly for future reference and compliance
- Offer input to management regarding technical challenges, strategic project planning, system operations and new software development

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience
Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to communicate in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
- Knowledge of company products and services
- Working knowledge of software development and delivery
- Ability to understand and grow technical knowledge in areas of software development and delivery
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
- Leadership skills and ability to build and develop teams
- Attention to detail and quality with effective problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated in-depth drive about automation, testing, and code quality
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript or Python and modern software approaches and architectures
- Agile experience
