The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

Do you excel at transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes? Spectrum seeks a Principal, Data Insights I to shape the front-end reporting of our customer experience metrics platform, guiding Product leadership to define critical metrics and enabling automated reporting for business solutions. Your expertise will influence the way we monitor and enhance customer-facing products, making a tangible impact across the organization.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive the definition and delivery of Product usage reporting by providing thought leadership in metrics, data visualization and ETL requirements
- Oversee the creation of automated, customer-readable reports using tools such as Tableau and Excel
- Collaborate with Information Technology and Business Intelligence teams to obtain and integrate new reference data sources for Product usage reports
- Work with User Experience & Design teams to ensure reports and dashboards are usable and industry leading
- Guide technical and leadership teams to resource projects appropriately and ensure timely completion
- Ensure proper software development life cycle practices are leveraged across all projects
- Develop partnerships with corporate groups including Software Engineering, Operations, Care, IT and Product to advance business solutions

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing products or services
- 8+ years working with data platforms or data analysis environments
- 6+ years managing complex projects
- 6+ years contributing to teams of data analysts and data scientists
Skills
- Ability to balance resource demands with business priorities
- Capability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure
- Proficiency in developing, communicating and implementing strategies
- Skilled in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Effective prioritization and organization abilities
- Competence in communicating technical concepts across organizational levels
- Expertise in analyzing, interpreting and presenting data
- Advanced skills in SQL and Tableau desktop and server
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of advanced analytics and reporting design principles
- Strong business acumen and urgency to drive results
- Ability to manage complex projects and development across technology stacks
- Proven ability to deliver high quality software
- Familiarity with development strategies, project management and consultancy
- Adaptability and willingness to expand Cable and IP product knowledge
- Ability to manage peer groups toward team objectives
- Proficient in identification and resolution techniques
- Effective presentation skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- Experience in all phases of lifecycle analytics: tagging, data engineering/pipeline development, and insights generation.
- Technical leadership experience in enterprise AI adoption and execution across facet of delivery lifecycle.
- Experience with multi-modal data delivery and enablement capabilities
