BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and launching the software feature strategy for our DOCSIS customer premises equipment (from ideation to successful product launch) to be used by all lines of business. This role will assume a leadership position with cross-functional teams. Aggregating input, gaining plan or record and budget approval, and authoring product requirements definition will be at the center of a fast paced, highly visible effort. The role will report to the Director, Internet Product but will operate in a highly matrixed environment with numerous key stakeholders.


WHAT OUR PRODUCT MANAGERS ENJOY MOST

  • Ideate and develop new opportunities to improve customer experience and product offerings.
  • Develop Product requirements, use cases and user journeys to communicate business requirements and work cross functionally to ensure alignment and documentation of all technical requirements. Utilize Jira and other tools to generate and manage requirements/use cases.
  • Responsible for all software, hardware and feature product management and development of an entire product line.
  • Collaborate with all key stakeholders including engineering, product management peers, marketing stakeholders and key market areas on implementing strategy.
  • Actively lead product launches and enhancements of products across a wide array of downstream partners and operational teams.
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborative information gathering to translate high level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation.
  • Development of communication plans for stakeholders and process participants.
  • Proactively identify data to support the effort and conduct research with deep analytics when appropriate while maintaining an eye toward the bigger picture.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience:  6+ years of product development/management 
  • Education:  Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated in-depth foundation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of digital SDLC tools such as JIRA
    • Effective business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results
    • Abilities:
      • Ability to adapt to a new environment and make an impact quickly
      • Ability to manage and foster change
      • Ability to influence large, cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results
      • Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
      • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
      • Ability to drive multiple projects and tasks
      • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
      • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
      • Ability to strategize solutions based on data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: DOCSIS or small networking hardware product management and product development experience; Software, RDK and device firmware development experience
  • Communication: Demonstrated communication and presentation skills to leadership teams

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,660.00 and $196,460.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
