Spectrum seeks a Principal Program Manager I to drive alignment across departmental objectives, collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver impactful outcomes. As a trusted advisor, you’ll set program management standards, lead transformation initiatives and engage stakeholders to ensure program success. Your expertise will directly advance Spectrum’s vision and support lasting organizational progress.


How You’ll Make an Impact   

  • Lead delivery strategies for multiple enterprise-scale technical programs, aligning efforts with Spectrum’s goals
  • Oversee integration of multidisciplinary technical projects, adjusting scopes, timelines and budgets to meet business needs
  • Coordinate across technical and non-technical project managers, integrating plans for cohesive program execution
  • Direct work assignments, review project plans, escalate resource needs and drive issue resolution to ensure quality completion
  • Define and track key performance indicators, identify risks and make proactive adjustments to maintain progress within budget and quality standards
  • Implement governance frameworks and best practices, ensuring consistency and high standards across all projects
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns to support objectives and transformation initiatives
  • Mentor project teams, offering guidance to promote professional development and program success

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field or equivalent experience

Experience  

  • 8+ years of project management experience

Skills   

  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects and assignments
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with peers and project members
  • Effective critical thinking and data analysis skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Project
  • Proven track record managing high-visibility technical programs
  • Effective communication, negotiation and strategic planning skills

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
