TITLE: Software Engineer VII  (Multiple Openings)

DUTIES: Unify and improve cloud infrastructure and services. Build self-service platforms that orchestrate complex workflows and eliminate manual steps. Develop software in Node.js that complies with the reference architecture involving application programming interfaces, user interface, databases, queueing, and event notification systems. Utilize JavaScript to develop frontend capabilities as the basis for Node.Js. Utilize Node.JS, NoSQL, and MongoDB to develop large platforms that will provide self-service UI and APIs. Package containerized services for integration into software releases. Utilize Kubernetes to deliver virtualized infrastructure. Utilize Agile Development Methodologies to provide a continuous development process model that drives development teams to deliver products faster.  Contribute to architectural discussions regarding platform enhancements to ensure scalable and performant applications. Mentor junior developers and ensure the team can execute the goals of each sprint. Provide program-level reporting for features assigned to the agile team. Perform code reviews for the work of the team and develop improvement plans. Translate business requirements into the development of software and data structures that integrate across the ecosystem.  Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate requests into functional platform engineering objectives.   Use compartmentalized software architecture to enable effective scaling of large applications. Perform event queuing and subscription service using Kafka to trigger and consume events.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 6 years of experience utilizing Agile Development Methodologies to provide a continuous development process model that drives development efficiency. 5 years of experience utilizing JavaScript to develop frontend capabilities as the basis for Node.Js.  4 years of experience in the following: utilizing Node.JS, NoSQL, and MongoDB to develop large platforms that will provide self-service UI and APIs; utilizing Kubernetes to deliver virtualized

infrastructure; and using compartmentalized software architecture to enable effective scaling of large applications. 2 years of experience performing event queuing and subscription service using Kafka to trigger and consume events.

SALARY: $164,112 - $ 196,400 per year

HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)

The base pay for this position generally is between $164,112.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
