BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

The Sr. Data Scientist will manage various pilots focused on AI, analytics and data visualization. Experiments and tests will be led in partnership with matrixed teams of call center, chat and digital engagement operations staff. You will utilize your experience to leverage DMAICR frameworks to test, validate, enhance, analyze and recommend next steps based on data. Accelerate our speed to market for inbound sales, retention, and customer service solutions. Success will be defined by minimum viable product cycles, data driven approvals for scale, and clear ROI for executive stakeholders.


WHAT OUR SR DATA SCIENTISTS ENJOY MOST

  • Prototype & Pilot Delivery: Scope, design, and execute prototypes. Define minimum viable product standards and run controlled experiments with measurable success metrics.
  • AI, Analytics & Coaching: Construct, evaluate designs, track performance data, and deliver statistically valid readouts and recommendations for scaling to senior leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Client Success, AI engineers, analysts and executives to facilitate workshops and translate frontline challenges into testable hypotheses.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, streamline workflows, and implement solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Governance & Change Management: Oversee lab operations, ensure compliance, manage change initiatives, and align projects with organizational strategy.

You’ll be expected to work in person in a dynamic office environment. You’ll excel in this role if you are a self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Data manipulation and statistical modeling as a Scientist, Consultant, Architect, DBA, or Engineer - 5+ Years
    • Programming Experience – 5+ Years
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or operations research, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Skills:
    • Strategic leadership, technical acumen, and operational excellence.
    • Key skills include the ability to scope, plan and deliver prototypes/pilots.
    • Define clear pilot standards and measurable success metrics.
    • Strong technology background, analytical skills.
    • Succinctly distilling findings to an executive audience.
    • Strong skills in translating complex data into executive ready insights.
    • Proven ability to rapidly streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive measurable performance gains.
  • Abilities:
    • Strong at bridging technical and business teams, facilitating workshops to turn challenges into testable solutions, and aligning initiatives with strategic goals.
    • Adept at governance, change management, and driving measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
    • Produce A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Hybrid Schedule: four in-office days weekly

  • Black Belt Six Sigma certification

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,330.00 and $156,530.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
