Are you ready to take on the role of Senior Manager, Access Network Operations, where you will be directly involved in planning and deploying new Spectrum products and services? In this position, you will collaborate with Engineering to transition new products from testing to operational readiness while directing and managing all Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) field operations. You will implement consistent operating, configuration, and engineering standards for stable product delivery, and coordinate capital planning for DOCSIS initiatives, ensuring execution of the approved budgeted plan.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop a disciplined, detailed, and structured team and assist with developing their direct reports to drive a high-performance culture and environment
Oversee designated operations which include all DOCSIS field operations, DOCSIS CPE devices to ensure unparalleled customer experience
Provide engineering support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operational initiatives
Evaluate and consult with Corporate, Regional, and KMA levels of leadership regarding DOCSIS Solutions & Services
Direct quality control programs to ensure consistent operational procedures for the DOCSIS solution
Support capital budget process for the DOCSIS services and solutions, execute approved budget plan
Ensure current procedures and tests are performed in accordance with Spectrum Policy and Procedures
Ensure adherence to company NCM policies and other related Engineering standards

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)
Experience
7+ years of engineering experience
5+ years of management experience
2+ years of project management experience
Skills
Read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
Extensive knowledge of DOCSIS solutions, CCAP, DOCSIS Modulation profiles, TFTP, TPD, CM files, and other related provisioning elements
Handle multiple projects and tasks
Make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Supervise and motivate others
Ability to use personal computer and software applications
Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and power distribution systems
Knowledge of Analog Transmission Line Theory, Electronic Theory, Fiber Optic Theory, and IP Addressing

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,660.00 and $196,460.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
