JOB SUMMARY
Are you ready to lead a product design delivery team championing systems-thinking and research-focused design? As a Senior Manager, Product Design at Spectrum, you can utilize your organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure the team operates at its highest potential, facilitating a design-inspired process to empathize, discover, ideate, build, and deploy. You will leverage user data to support business partners in enhancing Spectrum's processes, products, and service models.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage an innovative and collaborative team to produce exceptional digital products that enhance the customer experience
  • Establish and evolve KPIs for products and initiatives and performance targets for management of team
  • Identify, in conjunction with all levels of leadership, design tooling solutions, product design best practices and consistency aligned to design system guidelines
  • Support team members to help them gain confidence and experience with communication, leadership and collaboration skills, and enable growth and advancement in their careers
  • Provide direction for development of new products, technologies, and initiatives, as well as existing technologies and current operational initiatives
  • Manage contractors and consultant organizations supporting the delivery of technology projects
  • Contribute to efficient, high-quality design, design for the diversity, uniqueness and, in some cases, disabilities of our customers

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design / HCI / Related Field, or equivalent real-world experience

Experience:

  • 5+ years of UX/UI or Product Design management experience
  • Experience with designing high-fidelity prototypes
  • Experience with research-driven, iterative product design

Skills:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Skilled in making decisions and solving problems under pressure
  • Capable of supervising and motivating others
  • Experienced in managing and training cross-functional teams
  • Adept at prioritizing and organizing tasks effectively
  • Competent in analyzing and interpreting data
  • Demonstrated UX/UI design management skills via resume and portfolio
  • Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage product design work

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • Related industry work experience – Cable, Telecommunications, Software/Online Services
  • Working knowledge of and experience with Figma

The base pay for this position generally is between $110,800.00 and $196,400.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
