As a Field Technician & Safety Trainer at Spectrum, you will deliver innovative training programs to Field Operations teams, guiding employees from introductory to advanced levels in technical, safety, and operational excellence. Your expertise ensures our teams are prepared, confident and able to drive positive outcomes for every customer.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Facilitate learning through interactive classroom instruction, team trainings, online modules, hands-on labs and peer coaching
  • Supervise and guide employees during training sessions, modeling leadership behaviors, tracking attendance and documenting performance strengths and improvement areas
  • Provide training on safety topics, certify employee skills and promote safe work practices
  • Manage all administrative aspects of training including preparation, scheduling, record maintenance and data entry
  • Pursue continuous learning by developing your expertise, strengthening core skills and seeking feedback for ongoing improvement
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and follow up with learners and managers to ensure knowledge translates to performance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to update course content, aligning training with business strategies and job requirements

Working Conditions

  • Travel as needed to deliver training
  • Primarily office / classroom environment

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Successful completion of all NCTI/SCTE coursework for FT I-IV
  • Successful completion of all applicable Field Assessments

Experience

  • 2+ years of professional-level training delivery experience
  • 3+ years in a Senior Field Technician, higher or equivalent role

Skills

  • Ability to deliver training across multiple formats and platforms
  • Strong administrative, organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and skill development
  • Skill in evaluating learning and providing actionable feedback
  • Lift and transport training equipment, set up classrooms and remain on your feet up to 8 hours per day
