Join Spectrum as a Reporting Specialist, where you’ll develop innovative solutions that empower teams to make informed decisions. In this entry-level role, you will help shape efficient business processes and support the company’s mission through impactful reporting and analysis.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Build and implement reporting and application solutions to improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction while reducing costs
- Produce summary and detailed reports for key performance indicators using data from multiple databases and systems
- Create ad hoc reports to quickly address business questions and deliver thorough insights
- Develop technology documentation to ensure ongoing maintenance of reporting and application solutions
- Prepare communication materials to support deployment of new reporting and application solutions to end users
- Assist in analyzing business performance by understanding company policies, procedures and practices
- Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience across Spectrum
What You’ll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience
- 2+ years of general systems and applications experience
- 1+ year of data collection and design experienc
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Capable of handling multiple projects and tasks
- Skilled at decision-making and problem-solving under pressure
- Effective prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties
- Proficient with personal computers and software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets
- Able to work independently and collaboratively to resolve problems and handle requests
- Ability to perform detailed business analysis and design
- Ability to effectively consult with department managers and leaders
•Understanding of cable television products and services - Knowledge of operating systems including desktop productivity software and client/server system architecture
- Familiarity with database and reporting systems
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services
