The Manager of Commission & Sales Analytics is responsible for leading the Dispute Resolution Team, which oversees sales commission related disputes. The focus of this role is to ensure that commissions are paid accurately for all the company’s Sales Channels. They will work closely with Sales Channel leaders to ensure that commission-related issues are fully addressed and resolved. This role will proactively identify, track, and resolve any troubleshooting issues that arise within the commission software. Additionally, this role will take on ad hoc projects and tasks that help facilitate commission strategy and speed to market.
This position is based On-Site in Maitland, FL.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and direct the work of Commission Analyst(s) and Commission Support Agents for effective business support and responsiveness
Partner with Sales Channel leadership to identify, report, discuss, and resolve the root cause of commission dispute trends
Manage the UAT process for the Dispute Resolution Team when new commission plans are implemented for supported Sales Channels
Identify, track, communicate, and assist with resolution of any commission software related issues, changes, or enhancements
Assist with ad hoc commission related projects that include, but are not limited to, manual commission calculations, sales data research and review, commission training document creation, etc.
Create and communicate reporting to Sales Leadership to identify dispute causes and trends
Validate audit requirements and compliance with policies.
Provide input on opportunities for continuous process improvements to overall commission administration and tool efficiency.
Partner with Corporate Compensation in the modeling of what-if scenarios and impact of prospective changes to compensation plans.
Act as the Dispute Resolution Team’s liaison across different functional groups including Corporate Compensation, HR, Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, and Internal Audit.
Assist Corporate Compensation in escalated commission disputes and support effective controls to ensure integrity of commissions.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in the sales process -- from lead generation, to sales training
Demonstrated competency in sales compensation and commission structure analysis, ranging from quarterly, annual, overlay, etc.
Demonstrated financial acumen and discipline around pricing management, forecasting, and compensation planning
Proficient in MS Excel
Ability to monitor and understand all details in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to translate data into actionable decisions
Interpersonal skills to earn trust and advocacy within Sales and other departments
Ability to communicate on behalf of the VP Sales in internal meetings if unable to attend
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Exposures to major financial, billing, commission systems
Telecommunications/cable industry experience
Office environment. This role observes a hybird work schedule: 4 days in office /1 day remote
