In this role, you will be responsible for the formulation and definition of systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, you design and develop new systems by configuring new hardware or software or use existing systems in new ways to accomplish business objectives.

As a Business Systems Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing complex business operations and recommending solutions to align individual business functions with organizational goals. This role requires thorough understanding of the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and recommends solutions to improve general business processes and planning. This position can collaborate with one or several business units or functions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
Elicit, analyze, and validates the business needs of stakeholders.
Gather and document business and functional requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify automation opportunities and areas for improvement.
Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Work closely with development team explaining business requirements, solution design and help creating high level design document.
Work with QA teams in preparing functional and integration test cases and perform user acceptance testing.
Provide functionality demo to business, end users and training teams.
Provide system support (as required) by doing system troubleshooting and analysis.
Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience
2+ years Business Systems or IT related experience
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities at one time, prioritize and organize projects effectively, work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
Ability to analyze and interpret data and quickly identify business problems/opportunities
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to communicate to all levels of management and company personnel
Knowledge of software applications such Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of applicable systems
