As a Sr Billing Analyst, you’ll manage and coordinate billing platform activities including, but not limited to, researching functionality inquiries, managing enhancement requests, and supporting billing system changes.
WHAT OUR SENIOR BILLING ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST
Maintaining and performing updates to parameters on the billing platform
Reviewing and validating parameter updates and configuration to ensure continuity and system integrity
Researching and responding to internal customer requests
Providing overall billing platform interface support
Supporting testing for enhancements prior to implementation to ensure daily operations are not adversely impacted
Assisting with troubleshooting interface issues
With limited direction, maintain and validate parameters and configuration to ensure continuity and system integrity on the Production billing platform, report updates to Billing Design
Serve as subject matter expert to CSG DNA Snowflake, Ascendon, CCS, ACSR, Product Configurator
Lead technical initiatives for the Billing Operations team and support Billing Operations management by, but not limited to, validation of testing for enhancements prior to implementation to ensure daily operations are not adversely impacted.
Provide executive level reporting and dashboards from all areas of the organization.
Lead the team on triaging single account production issues with Core Cable, HSD, Voice Production and Seamless entertainment by serving as a mentor with other team members to share knowledge and contribute to the fulfillment of departmental goals.
On a given day you’ll assist the Billing Operations Management team by compiling data and producing reports to monitor service level agreement (SLA) adherence, tracking departmental activity, and recommending process improvements. You’ll excel if you are able to work within a fast-paced, high-change environment to meet deadlines.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Experience: Database reporting tools, Macros, queries, SQL: 5 years or more; billing system platform experience: 5 years of more; business operations analysis; Core biller knowledge; telecommunications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent training, education, experience
Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and SQL entries
Skills: Extensive knowledge of the billing system including, configuration and business parameters, provisioning, payments, other department processes, etc.; knowledge of Spectrum services and products
Abilities: Demonstrated strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Strong knowledge of billing platform workflows, interfaces, and related functionality; Work within a fast paced, high change environment to meet timelines
