TITLE: Software Engineer VI (Multiple Openings)
DUTIES: Design Spectrum mobile applications and services as part of a design solution development team. Support all Mobile information technology efforts to simplify application design. Analyze and develop Java 17, Python, and ETL based application solutions per business requirements. Design, develop, modify, and implement solutions and services to support the organization's applications. Partner with key stakeholders to provide technical direction. Develop and implement strategies to migrate, consolidate, and update systems. Provide architectural Kafka framework solutions to develop, maintain, and enhance application and information systems to build real-time data pipelines. Evaluate the impact of changes, additions, or decommissions based on interactions and integrations between spectrum mobile systems, applications, and services within the environment. Develop application roadmaps, align development plans, and ensure effective integration among application systems, information systems and infrastructure. Maintain knowledge of trends and technology innovations in the Cable, Telecom, and IT industry to execute proofs-of-concept for new approaches and platforms. Address problems relating to systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration. Use Spring Boot and Microservices to build and develop Enterprise Web applications. Design, code, and test applications, and handle huge data sets with Java 17, J2EE, or SQL. Manage, integrate, and warehouse data utilizing ETL methodologies. Utilize Redis to cache data; and Kafka to build real-time streaming data pipelines.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience: using Spring Boot and Microservices to build and develop Enterprise Web applications; designing applications, coding applications, testing applications, and handling huge data sets with Java 17, J2EE, or SQL; managing, integrating, and warehousing data utilizing ETL methodologies; and utilizing Redis to cache data. 3 years of experience utilizing Kafka to build real-time streaming data pipelines.
*Experience may be gained pre-, during, and post-completion of qualifying degree.
Hybrid arrangement is available.
SALARY: $140,046 - $159,400 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
