How You’ll Make an Impact
Oversee technical operations to maintain network integrity and ensure consistent delivery of voice, video and data services
Provide guidance and technical support to staff, fostering development in new and established technologies and operational standards
Manage purchasing, budgeting and capital projects including business plan development and deployment of Spectrum products
Direct quality assurance initiatives and resolve escalated customer issues to uphold service excellence
Monitor and improve compliance with industry standards, including FCC requirements, and recommend procedural enhancements
Coordinate with Construction, Dispatch, Warehouse, Engineering, and Care teams to optimize customer experiences and streamline fulfillment processes
Hire, train, and manage performance for fulfillment staff, promoting a high-performance environment
Working Conditions
Work mainly in an office with occasional assignments in confined or poorly ventilated spaces and exposure to dust, noise, cleaning solutions, insects and animals during field operations
Perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions and times, sometimes near power lines or at elevated heights, and travel as needed in inclement weather
Operate within a fast-paced environment that runs continuously
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Industry and vendor certifications and training, including NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E
Experience:
5+ years in technical supervisory roles or equivalent experience
Skills:
Proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, speaking)
Advanced understanding of network designs, architectures, topologies and the TCP/IP stack
Expertise in Headend operations, construction practices and installation/service procedures
Ability to use weight-bearing equipment, measure distances accurately and differentiate wire sizes and colors
Skilled in operating bucket trucks, test equipment and handheld devices
Capable of splicing coaxial cable and making precise cable connections
Experience handling multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and maintaining confidentiality
Strong supervisory and motivational abilities
Knowledge of technical proofs of performance, Spectrum products and services and capital/operating budget processes
Competence in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications

The base pay for this position generally is between $96,300.00 and $205,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
