How You’ll Make an Impact   

  • Lead the execution of UX/UI design for digital tools and workflows supporting business customers evaluating and purchasing Spectrum offerings
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to translate business needs, goals and pain points into effective digital solutions
  • Support and advance AI-enabled workflows to accelerate software development, streamline prototyping and clarify requirements
  • Align product requirements, design output and engineering implementation for seamless delivery
  • Drive high-quality design across customer journeys including solution discovery, product comparison, package configuration and purchase completion
  • Enforce design systems, reusable patterns and documentation standards to improve consistency and speed to market
  • Use research, analytics, experimentation and feedback to refine and inform design decisions
  • Participate in sprint planning, product discovery, prioritization and delivery reviews to integrate design throughout the development lifecycle
  • Advocate for usability, accessibility, consistency and customer-centered design in every project
  • Communicate design rationale and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction or related field
  • Advanced degree in a design-related discipline or equivalent practical UX/UI design experience

Experience

  • 9+ years solving UX problems in eCommerce
  • 5+ years people leadership and managing teams in large complex taxonomies
  • Experience leading UX teams on long timelines accomplishing complex deliverables aligned with business goals
  • 9+ years designing workflows that use AI to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort and accelerate execution
  • 9+ years identifying opportunities where AI simplifies tasks, reduces ambiguity and improves productivity for users and teams

Skills   

  • Proven experience designing digital products, workflows, and mobile-first experiences for sales, field, or customer-facing teams
  • Strong hands-on experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity visual designs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end design execution from concept through delivery in close partnership with Product Management and Engineering
  • Experience using research, analytics, experimentation, user feedback, and customer insights to inform design decisions
  • Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, and customer-centered design principles
  • Experience contributing to and scaling design systems, reusable components, and documentation standards
  • Proven ability to communicate design rationale, tradeoffs, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders
  • Experience working in agile environments, including sprint planning, product discovery, prioritization, and delivery reviews
  • Demonstrated success improving collaboration, design-to-development handoffs, and workflow efficiency across Design, Product, and Engineering teams
  • Expertise with AI-enabled workflows and tools that support faster planning, prototyping, iteration, and delivery
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and ways of working that support faster concept development, prototyping, iteration, and delivery
  • Understanding of how AI can improve collaboration across Design, Product Management, and Engineering through clearer requirements, stronger alignment, and reduced rework
  • Experience designing user experiences that incorporate AI assistance in practical, intuitive, and low-friction ways
  • Ability to translate AI capabilities into usable product experiences that help users complete work more quickly and confidently
  • Knowledge of human-centered design approaches for AI-assisted workflows, including clarity, trust, usability, and oversight
  • Familiarity with designing tools and interactions that support faster feedback loops, continuous improvement, and more efficient decision-making
  • Experience using data, research, and user feedback to refine AI-enabled experiences and improve effectiveness over time
  • Strong understanding of scalable design patterns, reusable components, and documentation practices that help teams move faster

The base pay for this position generally is between $135,300.00 and $288,100.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
