SUMMARY
As a Senior Manager, Video Engineering on the team, you will be responsible for restoration of video and operational issues, troubleshooting and providing technical mitigations to operational problems. DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS
Develop, design and implement electronic systems including audio, video and other multimedia equipment.
Assisting in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation of processes and procedures used throughout normal video operations.
Interacting with vendors and internal Charter engineering teams to mitigate and resolve issues quickly.
Identify, resolve and escalate as required operational and design issues through data analysis and recommend solutions to make systems more efficient.
Developing problem resolution procedures required to meet serviceability requirements.
Reporting and communications.
Build relationships with internal and external people.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Ten (10) year of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting video delivery, video applications, testing or networks or related field. Two (2) years of experience with internal / external technical support in a network or telecom environment (Headend, Network, Telecom, or Operations background). Two (2) years of supervisor or management roll.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, and / or equivalent work experience.
Management Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, decision making and leadership skills. Able to manage people from a far. Assigning tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members. Overseeing projects from start to finish.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of interactive set top controller systems and their components. Experience with building, grooming, and troubleshooting transcoding/encoding, multiplexing, and modulation platforms such as Cisco, Arris, etc.
Skills: Understanding video network architecture, data networking and system operations.
Abilities: Can work on remote video equipment and take initiative to learn multiple video systems, devices and architectures in a faced paced, quick restoration focused environment.
Schedule: Must be open to shift / overnight work.
Preferred qualifications should include; certification(s), education, industry experience that relate to your particular technical needs as a department.
