The Associate RE Project Manager works in tandem with the Corporate Real Estate project management team to support the delivery of challenging construction projects. The main purpose of this position is to provide assistance in managing projects of varying sizes and also manage small to medium size facilities related projects. This includes coordination of meetings, gathering and analyzing data, assisting in the planning, development of scopes, and schedule management of critical project plans. A team player who focuses on achieving business goals by providing administrative and technical support while proactively conducting all aspects of a project.

WHAT OUR ASSOCIATE RE PROJECT MANAGERS ENJOY MOST

  • Assist in managing projects of varying sizes, such as, office renovation, building construction, and other facility related work.
  • Interact with project team members to manage project documentation, track vendor RFPs and contracts, and develop scope and schedule of assigned projects.
  • Monitor the day-to-day work flow and input of information in our project management system.
  • Manage minor facility refresh and maintenance projects from beginning to end.
  • Implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
  • Track costs and performance KPI’s, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Make independent decisions with regard to specific job duties and seek guidance on decisions outside work scope.
  • Utilize knowledge of construction and/or architectural industry to support the team in delivering projects.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent electronic and hard file documentation, especially related to compliance and regulatory, and as-built drawings for archival purposes.
  • Perform additional duties related to this position as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Project Coordinator or relevant administrative work experience 3+ years
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and AutoCAD is a plus
    • Work independently and manage time efficiently

    • Problem solving and organizational skills

    • Demonstrated organizational skills, experience working under deadlines and managing multiple priorities at the same time

    • Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally at all levels

    • Flexibility to travel to job sites with the ability to adapt to a variety of working conditions based on project scope, i.e., interior, exterior, inclement weather, temporary office at a jobsite, etc.

  • Abilities: 
    • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as architectural plans, scope of work documents, and financial related documents, such as, basic budget spreadsheets, proposals, and invoices

    • Ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced, high demand environment

    • This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and
      remote days)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum desired
  • Experience:
    • Construction, Architecture or Facilities experience 1+ years
