At Spectrum News, you’ll work closely with senior leaders, support high-priority initiatives, and help keep fast-moving projects on track in a dynamic environment. For the right person, this role provides rare visibility into leadership, strategy, and the operations that keep a media organization moving forward.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Organize and maintain complex calendars to ensure optimal scheduling and prioritization
Coordinate projects and assist with managing ongoing priorities across departments
Support leadership by facilitating daily operations and preparing materials for meetings
Monitor deadlines and follow up on action items to keep initiatives moving forward
Provide proactive administrative support with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Engage with cross-functional teams to gather information and relay updates
Contribute to a collaborative environment that encourages learning and professional development
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
Experience
3+ years of executive administration experience
Skills
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Capacity to handle multiple projects and tasks efficiently
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Clear and effective oral and written communication
Sound judgment, initiative and ability to accomplish job duties independently
Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of cable television products and services
Familiarity with organization policies and practices
Working Conditions
Office environment with the ability to remain seated for extended periods
