BE PART OF THE CONNECTION:

As Principal Product Manager for Spectrum Business Voice you are responsible for providing management leadership with a specific focus on the design, development and implementation of Business Voice Products. These include feature enhancements, platform and hardware updates and product lifecycle maintenance activities for the Spectrum Business Voice portfolio. This position will be responsible for the efficient on time delivery of Voice Product initiatives by leading the development and delivery effort through cross functional engagement with IT, Network, Engineering and Operations teams.
You utilize current industry principles and methodologies to meet your objects through collaboration with the Architecture and Development teams. You maximize department success by creating a lasting partnership with other teams and providing detailed communications with business and technical stakeholders. You report to the Business Product Development Director for goals, guidance and assistance.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  • Drive product lifecycles by using digital best practices in accessibility, usability, requirement writing, agile development, software product management and product lifecycle management. 
  • Diagnose highly complex issues to evaluate, recommend and execute the best resolution.
  • Improve products by evaluating proposed features and enhancements from the perspective of the digital user experience.
  • Manage the development and communication of product strategies.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to implement product strategies.
  • Define product goals and build experiments to evaluate success.

WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS 

Required qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in product development or product management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills: Expert in strategizing solutions based on data analysis; Extensive knowledge of digital SDLC tools, such as JIRA; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Skills: Planning, prioritization, organizational and English communication skills.
  • Abilities: History of managing and fostering change with the ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of telecommunications industry experience.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
