JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Director, Brand Strategy & Operations leads the evolution and execution of our brand across all touchpoints. This role serves as the steward of our brand identity—defining our tone, voice, look, and feel—while ensuring internal alignment and external consistency.  Partners closely with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence and drive employee engagement around our brand values.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brand Strategy & Identity: Define and continuously evolve the brand’s tone, voice, visual identity, and overall expression. Maintain and refresh brand guidelines and design systems to ensure clarity, consistency, alignment and relevance.
  • Brand Stewardship: Build strong relationships across marketing and the entire organization to ensure teams working on internal and external touchpoints understand the brand strategy to deliver a unified brand narrative.
  • Creative Excellence & Alignment: Partner closely with creative teams to elevate and align executions ensuring consistency across all marketing channels. Help develop executive presentations to showcase the work, demonstrating how it aligns to the broader creative strategy and impact through brand metrics and performance.
  • Organizational Alignment, Education & Engagement: Develop programs and resources that educate internal teams on brand standards and best practices. Champion brand values throughout the organization, fostering a shared understanding and sense of ownership. Drive internal engagement with brand purpose and values through campaigns, workshops, and activations. Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders on brand-related decisions.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce brand governance to ensure consistency across all channels and materials. Partner with teams to ensure brand usage is compliant and aligned.
  • Insights & Optimization: Track brand performance using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Analyze insights and trends to inform future brand initiatives and strategy refinements.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to the residential creative team, tracking projects, and deliverables to keep a pulse on all activity. Partner closely with the Operations team to ensure alignment with leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated leadership and collaborative capabilities that impact and influence employees
  • Leadership presence with ability to make decisions and solve complex problems within business-critical timeframes
  • Expert written and oral presentation skills with ability to present to senior executive audiences
  • Proven ability to define and evolve brand identities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated operational acumen and experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret data, and continually evolve creative strategy based on key learnings
  • Proven ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Expert knowledge of marketing strategies and procedures
  • Leadership presence with ability to develop personnel and foster team environment
  • Competent personal computing skills and utilization of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing

Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Marketing experience – 10

Experience partnering with creative ad agencies to develop creative that delivers outstanding results – 10

Experience in brand strategy, marketing, or a related field - 10

Project management experience – 8

Leadership experience - 7

Experience with brand performance measurement and insights integration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Knowledge of cable television products and service

Preferred Education

Master’s Degree

Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years

Cable experience - 5

Experience working with marketing research to plan and execute scientific tests

Experience in developing successful customer on-boarding through customer and product education efforts
