BE A PART OF THE CONNECTION  

As a Senior Director of Process Engineering, you will provide leadership, vision, and strategy to support the implementation of all Field Operations initiatives/projects, following a disciplined Lean Six Sigma methodology. You will develop the long-term vision, design and development of policies and business rules for the customer facing organization, along with the design and build of the processes and solutions for the front-line workforce.

Strong leadership skills are critical to this role as you will partner with executives from across Charter’s Customer Care, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering groups to identify and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving the service experience delivered by Field Operations. Your work will ultimately help in the expansion of Charter’s growing network.  


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM  

Required Qualifications 

  • Experience: Business strategy development experience of ten years, project/program management experience of ten years, facilitation/leadership experience of seven years, experience in either of the following: IT or business unit management of seven years or large-scale process development and implementation of ten years, experience managing projects in an Agile development organization 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate 
  • Technical Skills: Expert management ability and can develop and energize a multi-disciplined organization, effective interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers, sponsors, staff, senior management, vendors, and contractors, effective analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills, ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management and customer, expert in formal project management methodologies and their implementation, excellent presentation and facilitation skills, demonstrated ability to resolve roadblocks to delivery in multi-organization teams where no direct management responsibility exists 
  • Abilities: Ability to present and discuss technical, functional and management information in a clear and concise way that explains complex topics; is persuasive and promotes consensus 
  • Skills: Excellent leadership skills, excellent communication skills  
  • Schedule: Hours will be determined as business needs dictate  


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience: Proven experience interfacing with senior/executive leaders, in-depth experience in the introduction of new technologies and standards, experience with managing projects following a quality control program, experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives, full project life cycle experience with both custom development and package-based application deployment, including experience working within a formal systems development life cycle methodology, experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement desirable, involving broad-based information systems and utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change, experience creating, justifying and managing large multi-million dollar operating budgets 
  • Education: Master’s of Business Administration degree, PMI-ACP certification a plus 
    Abilities/Knowledge: Demonstrated organizational management skills in a highly complex, fast-growing environment, including personnel management (hiring, recruiting, staffing, mentoring, coaching and reviewing), budget management and business planning, flexible, creative and inquisitive, understanding of business processes, challenges and opportunities, ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs, in-depth financial acumen
