JOB SUMMARY
Plan and execute national direct marketing campaigns to acquire new customers, lead the development of all local and field marketing and trigger direct marketing campaigns.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Lead the execution of strategy and tactics for all national customer acquisition direct marketing campaigns.
Forecast direct marketing performance and expense; identify opportunities to improve results, enhance the contact strategy or extend reach. Meet or outperform defined response targets for direct marketing customer acquisition programs.
Track and analyze response and conversion to drive direct marketing efficiencies and effectiveness.
Strategize and implement segment tests of audience, offer, creative formats and messaging; develop strategies for driving new revenue.
Help to manage vendors (relationships, legal agreements, invoicing and payment, vendor actions that impact the Charter brand and customer experience) and drive vendor performance.
Communicate with internal and external industry organizations, research groups and other sources of expertise related to direct marketing.
Hire and manage a high-performing, dedicated team of direct marketing experts who can provide Charter with world-class experience, knowledge, execution and overall marketing leadership in the industry.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Expertise in direct marketing (especially direct mail and email) with knowledge of production processes, key performance metrics and measurement methodologies Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think strategically Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at one time Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.); strong proficiency in PowerPoint and other desktop applications Ability to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, many different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience Ability to manage and foster change
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics or related discipline and/or an equivalent experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Direct marketing experience to include: - 7+ Marketing management - 3+ Project management - 5+
