TITLE: Software Engineer VI (Multiple Openings)
DUTIES: Develop, modify, enhance, and implement front-end technologies designed to support new or existing business initiatives for ecommerce applications. Handle all web development tasks of building services, system interfaces, and user interfaces for customer and agent ordering experience, utilizing HTML, CSS, and JS. Utilize modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end development, and Node.js, or Java for backend services. Work with backend API webservices to integrate the back-office to front end applications, utilizing Java (JDK1.8 and above). Develop and enhance internal Content Management Systems (CMS). Lead other developers and identify improvements to code quality for better application performance. Identify and implement enhancements to the current architecture of the application, including use and on-premises set up of Apache plug-ins. Develop applications using the best coding practices so that accessibility, PCI standards, security and analytics requirements are adequately met. Responsible for understanding business end-to-end domain and requirements. Facilitate production deployment and lead code reviews. Provide technical solutions through the translation of user needs and business requirements into high level and detailed design, solution and functional architecture and specifications. Determine opportunities for improvement to automate processes and functions. Manage version control and code collaboration using Git and ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are in place with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or BitBucket. Maintain code integrity, optimizing performance, and implementing security best practices. Use AWS and AEM clouds for infrastructure management, and leverage containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment. Become an advocate for agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, be crucial in driving project progress and delivering value to stakeholders. Engage in projects with Marketing, Offer Management, Ordering, Billing, Product, Customer Operations and Sales Activation.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 4 years of experience in website front-end development utilizing HTML, CSS, and JS; utilizing Adobe Experience Management and Target to develop and enhance internal Content Management Systems (CMS); utilizing Java (JDK 1.8 or above) for back-end development; and utilizing front-end framework development tools, including React, Redux, or Angular. 3 years of experience developing large-scale user interfaces for Fortune 100 Companies. 2 years of experience with on-premises setup and Apache plug-ins, such as Jackrabbit, Maven, Jenkins, or VSC Eclipse. 1 year of experience ensuring continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are in place with tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and BitBucket. A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available.
SALARY: $141,440 - $191,100 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
