Manager, Business Inbound Sales
JOB SUMMARY
Total responsibility for directing individual BusinessInbound Sales center, as far as performance to budget, staffing to budget, obtainment of quota, and development of this channel per the growth outlines as determined by the Senior Leadership team. Responsible for assigned revenue growth targets through the acquisition of new small business customers. This position is responsible for and oversees the Sales Specialists, Leads, Supervisors, and reports to the Director of Business Sales Centers. The Business Sales Manager will develop and lead an organization of fast-paced, quota-driven business-to-business sales teams that are highly transactional and customer focused.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Responsible for overall performance of Inbound Sales Center. Develops, implements and directs initiatives to ensure attainment of revenue targets and key performance indicators, including close rate, bundle sell-in, average revenue per unit (ARPU), average revenue per sale (ARPS), installation revenue and product penetration/connect goals. Monitor and analyze performance; develop and implement new initiatives to improve performance; report results to senior management.
- Develop and mentor Inbound Sales Center management team to ensure leadership bench strength. Identify, implement and embody sales leadership best practices. Develop and maintain a positive sales culture.
- Partner with marketing to develop and implement campaigns to increase call volume, close rate, ARPU/ARPS, market share and ROI. Partner with product development/product management to develop competitive services. Provide guidance and feedback on compelling services, effective offers and pricing strategies.
- Develop and direct the attainment of key call center productivity and quality goals, including service levels, average handle time, after call work time, etc. Utilize technology to optimize performance. Explore and recommend new technologies; work with IT and other functional groups to implement. In the virtualized call center environment, collaborate with leaders in the other Business Sales centers to maximize revenue, streamline operations and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Working as a liaison communicating between the representatives, supervisors, and marketing as to what motivates them, and pushing these suggestions up so they can be applied as the business dictates.
- Partner with the training department to develop and deliver sales, product and process training. Interface to identify Sales Specialist areas for improvement and coordinate ongoing training initiatives that will foster continuous improvement and be in-line with long term strategies. Assess and provide feedback on training effectiveness.
- Partner with sales operations, service activation and field operations to improve operational efficiency, including reduced time to revenue and improved customer experience.
- Oversee and approve all staffing-related activities including recruiting, hiring, training, and ongoing management and supervision. Collaborate in the development of the staffing plan based on forecasted call volume and revenue goals.
- Partner with business analysts to coordinate and design the reporting needed to diagnose, identify trends and readily dashboard the status of the Business Sales center to the leadership team.
- Manage center expenditures to ensure adherence to budget, company policies, and net revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with multiple departments, both horizontally and vertically throughout the organization. Operating in a virtualized call center environment requires mastery of local operations, procedures and contacts across the MSO.

Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
2-3 years Inbound Sales experience, commercial experience preferred
3+ years Management experience, preferably in an inside sales capacity

The base pay for this position generally is between $57,400.00 and $95,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $36,000.
