TITLE: BI ETL Developer III (Multiple Openings)
DUTIES: Ensure business needs and goals are realized through analysis and reporting activities of the Business Intelligence Group. Responsible for supporting the Manager or Director of Business Intelligence to empower Charter business leaders with concise, high-quality information, helping them leverage it to identify and address business opportunities and threats. Provides consultation on the interpretation of data to various business partners throughout the organization. Participate in active discussions with team members and users to understand business requirements. Work closely with IT, Architecture, Business Analysts and Report Developers to achieve business objectives. Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing data integration jobs using Stored Procedures. Understand and implement best practice solutions per development standards. Produce Ad Hoc Reports to answer business questions quickly and thoroughly. Develop technology documentation to support production deployments as well as ongoing maintenance of reporting and data solutions. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve data quality and performance issues. Communicate complex topics and analyses to non-technical business personnel. Provide accurate level of effort estimates for data integration development to management. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers. Design SQL Queries in a large-scale data warehouse environment including development and optimization of stored procedures and utilizing various query optimization techniques including indexing and partitioning. Develop data integration using ETL methodology. Collect, analyze, and verify data from various sources to enhance analytics using business intelligence tools, data modeling, and visualization methods. Validate characteristics of data using SQL and testing reports solutions. Utilize MicroStrategy reporting software to create, modify, and analyze reports for actionable business insights.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 7 years of experience designing SQL Queries in a large-scale data warehouse environment including development and optimization of stored procedures and utilizing various query optimization techniques including indexing and partitioning. 7 years of data integration experience including collecting, analyzing, and verifying data from various sources to enhance analytics using Teradata, Oracle, Ab Initio, data modeling, and visualization methods. 5 years of experience validating characteristics of data using SQL and testing reports solutions using Teradata, Oracle, and Ab Initio. 1 year of experience in the Cable Domain. 1 year of experience utilizing MicroStrategy to create, modify, and analyze reports for actionable business insights. Hybrid arrangement is available.
SALARY: $118,789 - $142,300 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
