TITLE: Senior Software Developer
DUTIES: Code, test, and debug new software. Make enhancements to existing software. Analyze and develop Java solutions based on customer requirements. Develop technical documentation, including design documents, run books, and standard operating procedures. Identify and apply innovative technologies to update existing systems. Coordinate with vendors and support teams on problem resolution, design issues, and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to improve application performance and functionality. Assist with the development and implementation of strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of system components. Provide support for Charter’s Spectrum Mobile Buyflows by investigating, researching, and communicating with backend teams for assistance. Rotate through on-call support for Charter’s Spectrum Mobile Buyflows and ecosystem. Ensure monitoring and alerting for all critical services, infrastructure, and vendor connections using Splunk, App Dynamics, and SolarWinds. Sprint plan for project life cycle using Agile development strategies. Read, understand, explain, code, test, and debug in Java. Use Splunk for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post implementation support. Use App Dynamics to perform application performance analysis for back-end services. Read, understand, explain, code, test, and debug in JavaScript.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. 4 years of experience: in sprint planning for project life cycle using Agile development strategies; coding, testing, and debugging in Java. 2 years of experience: using Splunk for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post implementation support; using App Dynamics to perform application performance analysis for back-end services; and coding, testing, and debugging in JavaScript. *A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
SALARY: $105,851 - $142,300 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
