TITLE: Software Engineer IV
DUTIES: Analyze and develop java solutions based on customer requirements. Design, develop, modify, and implement applications or services designed to support applications. Write code and perform software unit and integration testing to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements. Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance customer experience. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly and accurately to improve application performance and functionality. Assist with developing and implementing strategies for migration, consolidation, and upgrade of system components. Lead code review sessions to validate adherence to development standards and provide input to development teams. Influence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements for software enhancements. Analyze and resolve computer-related problems by coordinating with internal team members, including project managers, architects, and system administrators, to diagnose and fix an operational difficulty and consulting, advising, and training on specialized features and functions. Resolve incidents and problems for applications and web services supported by the team in accordance with identified service level agreements. Develop and support the Spectrum Mobile Buyflows by investigating, researching, and communicating with backend teams for assistance. Establish a framework for upcoming projects and initiatives so they are accomplished with speed and precision. Recommend efficiencies of various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing, and auditing new software programs. Ensure monitoring and alerting are in place for all critical services, infrastructure, and vendor connections using Splunk, App Dynamics, and SolarWinds. Participate on the on-call support rotation and ecosystem. Designing, coding, developing, and testing applications in Java or J2EE. Building and developing Enterprise Web Applications utilizing Spring. Processing extensive data and performing database operations utilizing SQL and NoSQL. Building applications utilizing Microservices.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. 4 years of experience designing, coding, developing, and testing applications in Java or J2EE. 3 years of experience processing large data and performing SQL and NoSQL database operations. 2 years of experience building and developing Enterprise Web Applications utilizing Spring Boot; and, building applications utilizing Microservices.
* A hybrid (in office and remote) work arrangement is available.
SALARY: $112,174 - $ 142,300 per year
HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40+ hours/week)
