TITLE: BI Application Developer III
DUTIES: Develop sustainable business intelligence reporting solutions to support business verticals and maximize utility of Charter’s data assets. Support MicroStrategy report development and architecture. Transform data from source systems into easily consumable information. Contribute to solution architecture by approving data architecture to be consumed by MicroStrategy. Transform business requirements into sustainable business intelligence (BI) solutions through the construction of MicroStrategy architecture, reports, and dashboards. Develop and document products and educate end users on functionality. Recommend reporting solutions and best practices. Extend reporting architecture for new areas of functionality. Perform tuning of dossiers, documents, and cubes for access to information through SQL generation or caching strategy. Write SQL scripts against Teradata warehouse to support analysis, discovery, and testing of reports. Optimize data warehouse model and data consumption in MicroStrategy. Document reports to maximize end user efficiency. Prototype, develop, test, and deploy MicroStrategy products using MicroStrategy toolset including Architect Developer, Web, Mobile, Office, Command/System Manager, and Object Manager. Support data warehousing and star-schema architecture. Optimize, analyze, and improve performance of reporting products using SQL. Build MicroStrategy solutions including architecture, reports, and dashboards. Support MicroStrategy’s mobile dashboarding solutions for iPad and Android.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. 7 years of experience in: prototyping, developing, testing, and deploying MicroStrategy products using MicroStrategy toolset including: Architect Developer, Web, Mobile, Office, Command/System Manager, and Object Manager; data warehousing and star-schema architecture; optimizing, analyzing, and improving performance of reporting products using SQL; building MicroStrategy solutions including architecture, reports, and dashboards; and MicroStrategy’s mobile dashboarding solutions for iPad and Android.
