BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will provide comprehensive HR support to a designated client group in the area of recruitment and retention of critical talent, continuous performance coaching and management, and pro-active issue identification and resolution.


WHAT OUR HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALISTS ENJOY MOST

  • Assuring company policies are administered fairly and consistently throughout the area of responsibility
  • Communicating and executing necessary changes to policies and procedures
  • Supporting and counseling employees and managers regarding job-related issues
  • Managing employee performance issues, and reviewing and assessing related requests
  • Conducting employee related investigations as necessary
  • Support employee engagement efforts such as conducting employee health and benefits meetings, and employee and supervisor trainings

In this role you will be administering HR policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. You will excel if you are able to build credible relationships with Business Leaders and communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Human Resources Generalist: 2 years or more
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Technical skills: Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Skills: Knowledge of the following: local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures; state and federal wage and hour laws; staffing and employment practices; employee relations procedures and applicable laws
  • Abilities: Prioritize and organize effectively, deal with the public in a professional manner, communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Travel Ability: Limited travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Certifications for Human Resources Professionals (SHRM, PHR)
  • Skills: Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards; knowledge of telecommunications a plus
